Capital City Flyers Meeting was held on October 13, 2015 at the B. Boon residence

The meeting commenced at 7:40 pm with 11 members present.

1. There were no previous minutes.

2. Reports

    a. Wings: Bill Alexander reported that there were three new members who were successful in receiving their
        wings badge.

    b. Treasurer: Tim Filtz presented the treasurer’s report noting that the assets are a reasonable amount for
        future field development costs.

    c. Membership: There are 64 paid members with 3 family members for a total of 67 club members. Last year
we had 58 paid members with 5 family  members for a total 63 club members.

    d. Field: Due to an extremely dry year there was very little mowing done. Ted Haggart has been very busy
painting existing benches and set-up tables. He also built additional tables and repaired some of the set-up
tables. He is also developing to be an expert pocket gopher trapper. Rob Baachus and Ted Haggart have
been very effective in keeping the field and facilities in very pristine condition.

The CCF club members appreciate the great effort that Ted, a relatively new member, has put into the
upkeep of the field and extend a great THANK YOU to Ted.

The topic of the need for CCF to be looking for a location for another flying field in the event that the
present field becomes lost to development was brought up. It was mentioned that the potential areas
available are quite limited but the most difficult part will be getting approval from the various governing
bodies and not the farmer. Members are encouraged to keep a watch for a potential site.

    e. Social: There were two successful Fun Flys this year. CCF also won, again this year, the competition with
        Meridian Flyers.

    f. Safety: There were no incidents this year. We were reminded that each of us are responsible for safety
violations and if any are seen then we must deal with them immediately.

3. New Business

 1. Moved by Ed Zeschuk, seconded by Rob Baachus that the yearly dues for CCF be $100 for all members,
including new members & those returning after a year or more absence. Passed.

    2. It was reminded that MAAC  has reciprocity with many countries in the world. Two countries mentioned
were Germany and USA.  After a discussion the membership agreed to keep full membership requirement
for individuals who come to the club to fly only for part of the summer due to work transfers and back.

    3. Website: Ed Zeschuk volunteered to maintain the CCF website. He obtained the codes and the passwords
needed to proceed with the maintenance of the site. The previous site will be reconstructed with a new
service provider. It is approximately 75% done now. There will be very little noticeable difference between
the two sites. Ed requested that the club members provide him with articles that would be appropriate for
the site and pictures of the various events of planes that you have completed. The previous site will be shut
down when the new site is functioning. The address
http://www.capitalcityflyers.com will remain the
        same.

The CCF members insisted the club pay for the yearly fee for the new service provider rather than Ed paying of   the first year himself.  Ed reluctantly agreed and will submit the bill to the treasurer when the invoice comes in.

The President declared the meeting adjourned at 8:35 pm.
