Bulldog decked out with crepe paper

The Bulldog is a quick build foam board electric plane which can be used for casual flying, fun flying or "ribbon combat' for which it was designed. Under normal conditions it is a quick one evening build. Prior to building the Bulldog it is advised to view the following video. This video is featuring the Bloody Baron build but it is valuable to view in that it shows how the components are cut out of the foam board, how the components are glued into place and how the alignment is done.

The Bulldog uses two 9 gm servos and a 1300 to 1500 mah LiPo battery for a brisk 5 minute combat run.
A crepe paper, approximately 20 foot long, is masking tape attached to the plane and the intent is for the rival combat pilots to cut the ribbon for points.

Clubs, for a variation in flying routine, and especially for excitement will have occasionally a combat event. Some clubs have crepe paper ribbon attached to the planes and some clubs do not attach any ribbon to the planes. Below are two links to videos of combat planes other than Bulldog. One is with ribbon attached and one is no ribbon attached.
